We offer full theory and practical training for IPAF Load & Unload Training.
Please note booking date is for the practical test only. Once the course has been booked, a confirmation email will be sent through to your email with a link to the online theory training and test for you to complete. Once the online theory test has been completed, you will have 3 months to complete your practical training and test.
Practical testing is completed at our facilities in Erith, Kent. If you wish to inquire for practical training at a venue of your choosing then please contact us using the button below and we will see if this is an available option.
Which Course Do I Need?
WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS COURSE?
Employers, project managers, foremen and supervisors or anyone who will be responsible for the loading and unloading of MEWP’s on a range of transportation.
Applicants need to be 18 years old, physically fit, hold an IPAF Pal card for the relevant categories of machines and a LGV license is desirable, although not mandatory.
WHAT WILL I GET FROM THIS COURSE?
- Aware of Hazards associated with transporting MEWP’s
- Aware of their responsibility and associated legislation
- Aware of safe procedures for loading and unloading
- To carry out inspections and transport-related risk assessments
- Able to correctly position the vehicle for the task at hand
- Able to safely and securely Load and Unload
- Certificate of Training (Valid for 5 years)
